The Sverdrup Polar Studies Program (SPSP) is the communication hub for a large number of multidisciplinary Arctic and Antarctic scientists at Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO). SPSP serves to bring together and inform all SIO Polar scientists about current research activities of fellow faculty and researchers from SIO research units, such as, the Arctic and Antarctic Research Center, the Center for Atmospheric Sciences, the Marine Research Division, Integrative Oceanography Division, and the Physical Oceanography Division.

Additionally, recent SIO multidisciplinary Polar research and curricular programs' materials are made available on this website to international polar research communities, educators, and the general public.

This site is under construction.
